Principal Pnb AMC has announced a change in the asset allocation pattern of Principal Dividend Yield Fund. The scheme will invest 65-100 per cent of its assets in equity and equity related instruments and 0-35 per cent in debt and money market instruments.
Earlier the fund could allocate 0-20 per cent of its assets in cash and money market instruments, a clause that stands removed from effective date July 5, 2013.
The fund house also announced a change in benchmark of Principal Debt Savings Fund- Retail Plan, from previous CRISIL Composite Bond Fund Index to CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund Index.. This change will be effective from June 6, 2013.
