Kotak Mutual Fund has announced the adoption of CNX Midcap as the basis for determining the definition of Midcaps for Kotak Midcap. Any stock having market capitalisation above the highest market capitalisation in CNX Midcap would be considered a large cap , otherwise a smallcap.
Dissenting unit holders are given a choice to exit the fund without paying any exit load between February 5, 2013 and March 7, 2013.
The change comes into effect from March 8, 2013.
