I had invested Rs 7 lakh in Reliance Infrastructure fund which was launched in June 2009. Reliance is unable to locate my investment. I have the cheque number issued from the bank as proof of investment. What is the quickest way to locate my investment?
If Reliance Mutual Fund is claiming that it never got this money in your name, then there is a great likelihood that you’ve been defrauded. You should go to your bank and find out the beneficiary of the Rs 7 lakh debited from your account. If the money was credited to Reliance Mutual Fund, you should go back to the AMC. If that is not the case then you should approach the police.
