Franklin Asian Equity Fund: Change in Fund Manager

Mr. R. Sukumar, currently the MD & CIO of Franklin Templeton MF, will not be involved in the day to day investment management operations effective March 1, 2012. However, he will continue to be involved in the advisory services provided by the AMC and also to oversee Franklin Equity Funds in Asia Region.

In effect of this change, Franklin Asian Equity Fund will be managed by Ms. Roshi Jain only, with effect from March 1, 2012.. Earlier, Mr. R. Sukumar with Ms. Roshi Jain were managing this fund together.
