Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced a dividend under the dividend option of Templeton India Equity Income Fund. The quantum of dividend will be Rs. 0.70 per unit. The record date will be September 16, 2011.
Since its launch in April 2006, it has declared 8 dividends (including the latest one). Earlier this year, it declared the dividend in March, 2011.
