I have SIPs in the following four funds amounting to Rs 7,000 a month. Can you please suggest if these are good funds for the long term? How much return I can expect?

You have selected good funds in your portfolio that offers you diversity in both style and number. If the Rs 7,000 collectively earns an annualised 12 per cent over the next five year; you can achieve a corpus of Rs 5.78 lakh and if the same were to earn 15 per cent the corpus will be Rs 6.23 lakh. If past returns are to go by, this portfolio has the potential to earn you good returns. However, mutual fund investments are subject to market risks and one needs to be careful with their investments. You should make it a point to review the performance of your portfolio periodically and evaluate how the funds fare. This way you can consider switching funds from poor performers to better ones.
