UTI Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 8% (i.e. Rs 0.80 per unit on the face value of Rs. 10) under the dividend option of UTI Dividend Yield Fund. The record date for the same has been fixed as June 8, 2007.
This would be the sixth dividend from this fund since its inception and it has been announced after a gap of just two months. Earlier in March 2007, a 7% dividend was paid by the fund.
