About Sundaram Medium Duration Fund - Regular Plan
Sundaram Medium Duration Fund - Regular Plan is a debt mutual fund scheme of Sundaram Mutual Fund. Launched on December 18, 1997, it is currently managed by Dwijendra Srivastava and Sandeep Agarwal. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.86% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹34 Cr.
Sundaram Medium Term Bond Fund - Regular Plan is mandated to invest in bonds such that the duration of the portfolio is between three to four years. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹500 and minimum SIP of ₹250.
Investment Strategy
The scheme seeks to generate income and capital appreciation by investing in Fixed Income Securities and Money Market Instruments.

- Sold within 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- Sold after 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
