About Edelweiss Nifty LargeMidcap 250 ETF
Edelweiss Nifty LargeMidcap 250 ETF is a equity mutual fund scheme of Edelweiss Mutual Fund. Launched on September 04, 2025, it is currently managed by Bhavesh Jain and Manasi Jalgaonkar. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.06% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹134 Cr.
Edelweiss Nifty LargeMidcap 250 ETF is mandated to invest at least 35 per cent of its assets each in large-cap and mid-cap stocks. Being passively managed, it replicates the portfolio of its chosen benchmark index. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹5,000 and minimum SIP of ₹--.
Investment Strategy
The schemes seeks to generate passive investment in equity and equity related securities replacing the composition of the Nifty LargeMidcap 250 Index, subject to tracking errors.

Note:

Capital Gains Taxation
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains upto Rs 1.25 lakh in a financial year are exempt from tax. Gains over Rs 1.25 lakh are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is taxed at the rate of 20%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
