About Bajaj Finserv Arbitrage Fund - Regular Plan

Bajaj Finserv Arbitrage Fund - Regular Plan is a hybrid mutual fund scheme of Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund. Launched on September 15, 2023, it is currently managed by Siddharth Chaudhary and Ilesh Savla. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.03% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹1,217 Cr.

Bajaj Finserv Arbitrage Fund - Regular Plan invests in equity shares and derivatives and earns through the price differential between a stock and its futures. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹100 and minimum SIP of ₹500.

Investment Strategy

The Scheme seek to generate returns by investing in arbitrage opportunities in the cash and derivatives segments of the equity markets and by investing balance in debt and money market instruments.

  • Earning slightly higher returns than savings bank account, with low-to-moderate volatility

Capital Gains Taxation

  • If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains upto Rs 1.25 lakh in a financial year are exempt from tax. Gains over Rs 1.25 lakh are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
  • If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is taxed at the rate of 20%.
  • No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
