About TRUSTMF Corporate Bond Fund - Direct Plan
TRUSTMF Corporate Bond Fund - Direct Plan is a debt mutual fund scheme of TRUST Mutual Fund. Launched on January 20, 2023, it is currently managed by Jalpan Shah and Shradhanjali Panda. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.24% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹121 Cr.
TRUSTMF Corporate Bond Fund - Direct Plan is mandated to invest at least 80 per cent of its assets in high-grade corporate bonds rated AA+ and above. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹1,000.
Investment Strategy
The scheme seeks to generate optimal returns by investing predominantly in AA+ and above rated corporate bonds.

Corporate Bond funds are suitable for:

- Earning marginally higher returns than fixed deposits, with low-to-moderate volatility and flexibility to redeem anytime
- Investment horizon of 2-3 years

Capital Gains Taxation
- If investment is made on or after 1 April 2023: Entire amount of gain is added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- If investment is made before 1 April 2023:
- Sold within 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- Sold after 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
