About Taurus Mid Cap Fund - Regular Plan
Taurus Mid Cap Fund - Regular Plan is a equity mutual fund scheme of Taurus Mutual Fund. Launched on September 05, 1994, it is currently managed by Anuj Kapil and Hemanshu Srivastava. The fund has an expense ratio of 4.38% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹123 Cr.
Taurus Mid Cap Fund - Regular Plan is mandated to invest at least 65 per cent of its assets in mid-cap stocks at all times. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹500 and minimum SIP of ₹500.
Investment Strategy
The Scheme seeks to achieve long term capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio consisting of equity and equity related securities predominantly of mid cap companies.

Note:
- Invest only through SIP
Capital Gains Taxation
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains upto Rs 1.25 lakh in a financial year are exempt from tax. Gains over Rs 1.25 lakh are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is taxed at the rate of 20%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
