About ICICI Prudential Global Stable Equity Fund (FOF)
ICICI Prudential Global Stable Equity Fund (FOF) is a equity mutual fund scheme of ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. Launched on September 13, 2013, it is currently managed by Ritesh Lunawat, Sharmila D'Silva and Masoomi Jhurmarvala. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.39% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹88 Cr.
ICICI Prudential Global Stable Equity Fund (FOF) invests mainly in the shares of foreign companies listed outside India. Being a fund of funds, it invests its assets in a set of mutual fund schemes instead of the underlying securities directly. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹1,000.
Investment Strategy
The scheme seeks to provide adequate returns by investing in the units of overseas mutual fund schemes, which have the mandate to invest globally. Accordingly, the Scheme intends to invest in the units/shares of Nordea 1 - Global Stable Equity Fund - Unhedged (N1 - GSEF - U) and/or other overseas mutual funds. The fund manager may also invest in one or more other overseas mutual fund schemes, with similar investment policy/fundamental attributes and risk profile and is in accordance with the investment strategy of the Scheme.

Capital Gains Taxation
The following tax treatment is based upon last 12-months asset allocation and may vary from other funds in the category.
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 2 years from the date of investment, gains are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 2 years from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
