Duncans Industries Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant to Central Govt. Gazette Notification dated January 28, 2016, in respect of 6 tea gardens of the Company viz. Birpara, Dumchipara, Hantapara, Tulsipara, Lankapara and Garganda, the Central Govt. has authorized the Tea Board to take steps to takeover the management or the control of the said 6 tea gardens of the Company.
However, the Company being aggrieved by such notification is now in the process of taking suitable legal recourse.
