Videocon Industries Ltd, vide its letter dated December 23, 2014, has now informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on March 30, 2013, have resolved the following :
'RESOLVED THAT pursuant to the provisions of Section 210(4) and other applicable provisions, if any, of the Companies Act, 1956, and in furtherance to the resolution passed by the Board of Directors on 31st December, 2012, and subject to the approval of the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai, the Current Accounting Year of the Company be and is hereby extended by a further period of 3 (Three) months i.e. upto 30th June, 2013.
RESOLVED FURTHER THAT the Current Accounting Year shall be for a period of 18 (Eighteen) months beginning on 1st January, 2012 and ending on 30th June, 2013 and the subsequent accounting year of the Company shall commence from 1st July and shall end on 30th June, every year.'
