About Nippon India ETF Nifty 100
Nippon India ETF Nifty 100 is a equity mutual fund scheme of Nippon India Mutual Fund. Launched on March 22, 2013, it is currently managed by Himanshu Mange. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.50% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹347 Cr.
Nippon India ETF Nifty 100 is mandated to invest at least 80 per cent of its assets in large-cap stocks at all times. Being passively managed, it replicates the portfolio of its chosen benchmark index. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹-- and minimum SIP of ₹--.
Investment Strategy
The scheme seeks to provide investment returns that, before expenses, closely correspond to the total returns of the securities as represented by the Nifty 100 Index, subject to tracking errors.

Large-cap funds are suitable for investors:
- Seeking exposure in large-cap stocks for moderately high returns
- Aiming for long-term wealth creation
- With a 5+ year investment horizon

Note:

- Being passively managed, the fund replicates the portfolio of its chosen benchmark index
Capital Gains Taxation
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains upto Rs 1.25 lakh in a financial year are exempt from tax. Gains over Rs 1.25 lakh are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is taxed at the rate of 20%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
