About SBI Silver ETF
SBI Silver ETF is a commodities mutual fund scheme of SBI Mutual Fund. Launched on July 03, 2024, it is currently managed by Viral Chhadva. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.41% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹5,940 Cr.
The scheme seeks to generate returns that are in line with the performance of physical silver in domestic prices, subject to tracking error. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹-- and minimum SIP of ₹--.

Suitability

Capital Gains Taxation
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
