About SBI Large Cap Fund
SBI Large Cap Fund is a equity mutual fund scheme of SBI Mutual Fund. Launched on February 14, 2006, it is currently managed by Saurabh Pant. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.47% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹53,468 Cr.
SBI Bluechip Fund is mandated to invest at least 80 per cent of its assets in large-cap stocks at all times. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹500.
Investment Strategy
The scheme seeks to provide investors with opportunities for long-term growth in capital through an active management of investments in a diversified basket of large cap equity stocks (as specified by SEBI/AMFI from time to time).

Note:
- Invest only through SIP
Capital Gains Taxation
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains upto Rs 1.25 lakh in a financial year are exempt from tax. Gains over Rs 1.25 lakh are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is taxed at the rate of 20%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
