About PGIM India Large Cap Fund - Regular Plan
PGIM India Large Cap Fund - Regular Plan is a equity mutual fund scheme of PGIM India Mutual Fund. Launched on January 30, 2003, it is currently managed by Vinay Paharia, Anandha Padmanabhan Anjeneyan, Vivek Sharma and Akhil Dhar. The fund has an expense ratio of 2.45% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹544 Cr.
PGIM India Large Cap Fund is mandated to invest at least 80 per cent of its assets in large-cap stocks at all times. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹1,000.
Investment Strategy
The Scheme seeks to generate long term capital growth from a diversified portfolio of equity and equity related securities of predominantly large cap companies.

Note:
- Invest only through SIP
Capital Gains Taxation
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains upto Rs 1.25 lakh in a financial year are exempt from tax. Gains over Rs 1.25 lakh are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is taxed at the rate of 20%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
