Nutraplus Products India Ltd has informed BSE that on August 03, 2014, in one of the factories of the Company situated at Tarapur, Dist. Thane, Maharashtra, major fire broke out and factory property has been damaged. However, the main machineries of the said Plant are also damaged. The Company is assessing the loss and gravity of damage to the plant. The entire assets of the said Plant are fully insured.
It is expected that restoration of production facilities, after carrying out major repairing and construction of factory premises, will take atleast three to six months time and accordingly Plant is expected to be fully operational with six months time. During the restoration of the facilities, the overall production of the Company is expected to remain at 60% of the present production capacity of the Company as a whole.
