Varun Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has applied to Registrar of Companies (ROC) - Mumbai seeking permission to extend the date of Annual General Meeting by a period of 3 months on August 26, 2014.
In this respect, as per section 96(1) of the Companies Act, 2013, the Company has sought ROC approval vide their letter dated September 12, 2014 for extension of the time to hold the Annual General Meeting by 3 months beyond September 30, 2014 i.e up to December 30, 2014.
