In compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, this is to inform that the Board of Directors of Rural Electrification Corporation Limited (REC) in its 440th Meeting held on March 6, 2018,inter-alia approved the proposal for sale and transfer of WR-NR Power Transmission Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of RECTPCL and also of REC (in terms of Section 2(87) of the Companies Act, 2013), to M/s Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, which has emerged as the Successful Bidder (L1), through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding Process, for establishing Transmission System for New WR-NR 765 kV Inter-regional corridor.
