DAM Capital commenced operations in 1993 under the name S.S. Kantilal Ishwarlal Sharebrokers and Investors Private Limited. In 2006, it was acquired by Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC), which eventually culminated in full acquisition in 2019. Following this acquisition, the company rebranded to DAM Capital Advisors Limited in 2020. DAM Capital is a rapidly growing merchant bank in India, primarily offering two key business segments: Merchant Banking and Institutional Equities. In the Merchant Banking domain, DAM Capital provides a range of financial services, including equity capital markets (ECM) activities such as IPOs, QIPs, and rights issues, as well as advisory services in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity (PE), and structured finance. The Institutional Equities segment focuses on broking and research services, offering expertise in sales trading, execution, and comprehensive research across various sectors.
