Airtel, a global communications solutions provider, currently owns 70% of the outstanding equity share capital. The company operates as a communications solutions provider, offering consumer mobile services, fixed-line telephone, and broadband services primarily in the Rajasthan and North East telecommunication circles in India. It serves states such as Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura under the brand 'Airtel.' It offers digital offerings and customized plans, such as Airtel Black, to enhance customer engagement. With an extensive distribution and service network, the company has set up retail outlets and small format stores across 90 cities, reaching 486 census towns as of December 31, 2023. Its distribution network comprises 616 distributors and 89,454 retail touchpoints, facilitating customer access to services.
