Baroda BNP Paribas Energy Opportunities Fund - Direct Plan is a equity mutual fund scheme of Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund. Launched on February 10, 2025, it is currently managed by Sanjay Chawla and Kirtan Mehta. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.01% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹715 Cr.
Baroda BNP Paribas Energy Opportunities Fund - Direct Plan is mandated to invest at least 80 per cent of its assets in the shares of companies operating in the energy sector. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹500.
Investment Strategy
The scheme seeks to provide investors with opportunities for long term capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments of companies engaging in activities such as exploration, production, distribution, transportation and processing of traditional & new energy including but not limited to industries/sectors such as oil & gas, utilities and power.
