About HSBC Arbitrage Fund - Direct Plan
HSBC Arbitrage Fund - Direct Plan is a hybrid mutual fund scheme of HSBC Mutual Fund. Launched on June 30, 2014, it is currently managed by Mahesh A Chhabria, Praveen Ayathan and Asif Rizwi. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.29% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹2,433 Cr.
HSBC Arbitrage Fund - Direct Plan invests in equity shares and derivatives and earns through the price differential between a stock and its futures. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹500.

The scheme seeks to generate reasonable returns by predominantly investing in arbitrage opportunities in the cash and derivatives segments of the equity markets and by investing balance in debt and money market instruments.
