About Bandhan Banking and PSU Fund - Direct Plan
Bandhan Banking and PSU Fund - Direct Plan is a debt mutual fund scheme of Bandhan Mutual Fund. Launched on March 07, 2013, it is currently managed by Suyash Choudhary and Gautam Kaul. The fund has an expense ratio of 0.35% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹12,108 Cr.
Bandhan Banking & PSU Debt Fund - Direct Plan is mandated to invest at least 80 per cent of its assets in bonds issued by banks, public sector undertakings (PSUs) and public financial institutions. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹100.

To achieve optimal returns by investing in money market and debt instruments issued by scheduled commercial banks.

Capital Gains Taxation
- If investment is made on or after 1 April 2023: Entire amount of gain is added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- If investment is made before 1 April 2023:
- Sold within 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are added to the investors' income and taxed according to the applicable slab rate.
- Sold after 2 years from the date of investment: Gains are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
