About Mirae Asset Large & Midcap Fund - Regular Plan
Mirae Asset Large & Midcap Fund - Regular Plan is a equity mutual fund scheme of Mirae Asset Mutual Fund. Launched on July 09, 2010, it is currently managed by Neelesh Surana and Ankit Jain. The fund has an expense ratio of 1.70% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹42,338 Cr.
Mirae Asset Large & Midcap Fund - Regular Plan is mandated to invest at least 35 per cent of its assets each in large-cap and mid-cap stocks. The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹1,000 and minimum SIP of ₹99.
Investment Strategy
To generate income and capital appreciation from a diversified portfolio predominantly investing in Indian equities and equity related securities of large cap and midcap companies at the time of investment.

Note:

Capital Gains Taxation
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains upto Rs 1.25 lakh in a financial year are exempt from tax. Gains over Rs 1.25 lakh are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is taxed at the rate of 20%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
