With reference to the earlier letter dated June 30, 2016, Gokak Textiles Ltd has now informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at their meeting to be held on July 08, 2016 would consider a proposal, subject to the approval of the shareholders, to issue Non-convertible Redeemable Preference Shares on private placement basis to the Promoters/Promoter Group. Shareholder?s approval would be obtained at an Extra-ordinary General Meeting / through Postal Ballot.
