We refer to your email dated 13th August 2019 with regard to the media report which appeared in aajtak.intoday.in on 11th August 2019.
In this regard we inform you that there was a fire incident at our co-generation plant of Unit XI situated at Pydibhimavaram Srikakulam near Visakhapatnam Andhra Pradesh on Sunday 11th August 2019. The incident took place when third party employees were attending maintenance works on ash-silo of one of the boilers in the plant. In the said incident there were two casualties.
As per Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations it was not a material event as there was no loss of production nor disruption of operations in the plant and hence the same was not reported.
