Yes, you can pause your SIPs online or offline for up to six months. That said, a few fund houses allow this pause facility for three months only. Your SIPs will automatically resume upon the expiry of the pause period.
You can pause your SIP via CAMS, KFintech, or the fund house’s website. Log in, select the pause option, set the duration, and confirm your request.
Visit the fund house or ask your agent/advisor. Request a SIP cancellation form, fill in the required details such as your folio number, PAN number, bank account details, etc., and submit the paperwork to any branch of the AMC, CAMS, or KFintech.
No, you are not charged by the mutual fund house for pausing SIPs.
