Investing in a hot market
Here's how you approach stocks in the present bull market
By Neil Borate | Jul 14, 2017
The Nifty is racing towards 10,000. It is up nearly 17% in just 6 months. Mid and small caps are rising even faster. Their pace has caused some mid and small cap funds to stop inflows altogether.
Markets such as these can cause conflicting emotions. On the one hand, they make us regret missing day-after-day of hefty gains. On the other, they make us fearful with each successive height. Articles appear drawing parallels to the bubbles of 2000 and 2008 and we wonder, is this time really different?
If you have exited the market, you may well be stuck outside, waiting for a correction. If you are invested, the temptation to exit may be getting stronger.
So what do you do in this type of market? We tell you in the upcoming Money Hangout. Register now.
