I am investing in HDFC Top 200 and Reliance Opportunities fund. Recently we have seen new mutual fund companies entering India, should we invest in them or keep investing in the older companies?
When you choose to invest in mutual funds, you primary criteria should be that your money is managed well to achieve your investment objectives and goals, irrespective of the company that runs the fund. Mutual funds are regulated within an efficient structure that ensures that the investors’ money doesn’t get affected by the problems faced by the fund company. Hence, investors should focus on the basics like the performance of the particular mutual funds over different market situations.
