Soothe the market wounds

These hilarious memes and jokes from the world of investing are a testament to what Value Research has been advocating time and again

We don't know whether we jinxed or something, but since our 'positive note' last week, the market hasn't been that impressive. Many indices, including Sensex, gave negative returns, making investors sad. Of course, except for power companies (looking at your Adani companies). But will that stop us from enjoying memes? NO! Because at this point we can only enjoy memes.

Can we go back to simpler times when all we had to deal with was COVID? Like, what is this buddy? (Expressionless face) Inflation is playing basketball in our portfolio and daily purchases too. We are losing our energy to fight it.

There is a famous joke by Paul Samuelson (he is another economist, what an irony right?) "Economists have predicted nine out of last five recessions". But with the given rate of inflation, maybe we should include economists back in the gang.

The theory easily states, 'Buy low, sell high'. But in reality it is, 'Buy low. Regret buying it. Do all kinds of rituals to push the stock price up. Become depressed and finally sell at a much lower price'. Of course you don't need to go through all of that if you just subscribe to Value Research Stock Advisor, but hey who are we to say?

Another week for ITC investors having the time of their lives. It sure is fun watching your stock be stable through one of the worst periods when all your stock friends are losing big time.

Soothe the market wounds

Previously it was oil prices, now it is Rupee value, next what? It feels like we should forget margins and just start vibing at this point.

Soothe the market wounds

We are not even going to say anything. The picture pretty much speaks for itself.
