Instead of an SIP, should I invest a lump sum in the rising market?

I redeemed my investments from regular plans of mutual funds and re-invested 90 per cent of them in direct plans. I retained 10 per cent of the total value and decided to reinvest it through SIP. However, the market has been going up continuously. Should I re-invest this amount as a lump sum?
