Is it a bad time to invest in fundamentally sound stocks?

Ashutosh Gupta suggests staggering investments in equity over a period of time

The markets have rallied since March, 2020 and are overvalued, too. Is it advisable to initiate new investments now if I have some good fundamental stocks in mind?

There is always a dilemma over whether this is the right time to invest or not among investors. That's the main reason why one should not commit too much money at a particular point in time in equity, rather stagger the investments.

So, if you have already identified a few good fundamentally strong stocks and are looking to remain invested for the next several years, then the right approach would be to stagger your investments in these stocks over the next few months rather than committing all of that money at once right now. By doing that, you would not have to worry much about the current market levels.

In fact, that is how even fund managers build their positions in their strategic holdings. So, you can follow this simple plan.
