Templeton India GSF and Income fund has declared a special bonus dividend in addition to its quarterly dividends. The record date for the same was December 14, 2001.
Templeton India GSF has paid a total dividend of 8 per cent (Rs 0.80 per unit), i.e., 3% quarterly and 5% bonus dividend. This aggregates to 16.25 per cent dividend in the calendar year 2001.
Templeton India Income fund has declared a dividend of 5 per cent (Rs 0.50 per unit) of which 2.75% constitutes the quarterly dividend and 2.25% bonus dividend. Including the current payout, the fund has paid a total dividend of 12.25 per cent this year.
